Delivering resilience and operational efficiency

Pearland's aging SCADA system lacked effective remote control and monitoring, leading to maintenance challenges and troubleshooting struggles. A new city-wide SCADA platform replaced the outdated infrastructure, integrating remote alarms and automated reporting software and boosting automation standards.

A phased implementation strategy

A progressive design-build approach aligned four phases with annual budgets while maintaining operations.

Virtualized redundant architecture

Site architecture was replaced with redundant virtualization, guaranteeing data collection even during disruptions.

Standardized platforms

Facility-wide consistent standards and human-machine interfaces were established with remote alarms and automatic reporting.

Custom control panel fabrication

In-house fabrication gave design flexibility, controlled costs, boosted quality, and reduced risk of project delays.

Pearland's once-outdated SCADA system has transformed into a streamlined solution that supports operations and the region's growing needs. Thanks to close client collaboration and engagement via workshops and technical meetings, project teams were able to introduce site-specific solutions without long negotiations or delays.
