As the global population, expected to reach 10 billion by 2050, continues to grow, the need for reliable fresh water supplies to serve it is critical. Climate change has increased the frequency of droughts and increased temper­a­tures, putting many communities at risk of running out of water. Today, in many communities the most reliable and drought resistant source of clean water can be wastewater effluent, so water reuse is becoming more prevalent to serve our growing needs.

In this webinar, we discuss the importance of water reclamation facilities, advanced water reuse and how these types of projects are implemented. You will lean the case study of Palm Beach County’s Green Cay Phase 2 project, which uses advanced treatment technologies to supply constructed lakes with pure water and augment local water resources.
