GDOT entrusted the team to work on a unique bridge replacement—a 741-foot bridge over Albany’s Flint River.
GDOT implemented the first three design-build projects in the district, enhancing collaboration and innovative contracting.
The team leveraged e-ticket systems for digitalized asphalt production tracking and drones to capture aerial documentation.
CDM Smith’s comprehensive support enabled GDOT to fortify southwest Georgia's transportation infrastructure with confidence, knowing they have dedicated CEI experts committed to implementing lasting, high-quality solutions for their communities.
As Joe Cowan, senior project manager, explains, “These are relationships built on mutual respect, shared commitment and the drive to construct quality road and bridge projects that will last for generations. The trust GDOT has in CDM Smith is evident in our long-term relationship,” he says.
