CDM Smith Donates to World Central Kitchen, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and National MS Society through Employee Wellness Program
BOSTON – CDM Smith donated $50,000 to three charities as part of the firm’s Employee Wellness Program and commitment to giving back. A $25,000 donation was made to World Central Kitchen, a $15,000 donation was made to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and a $10,000 donation was made to National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

World central kitchen
World Central Kitchen (WCK) urgently provides fresh and nutritious meals on the frontlines to those affected by humanitarian, climate and community crises. They have provided more than 450 million meals for communities in need around the world, aiming to remind those in need they are not alone and grant hope in the darkest of times. WCK uses the power of food to support global communities in emergency situations, and with CDM Smith’s donation of $25,000, they will continue this important work.

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is on a mission to solve the previously unsolvable. Fueled by endless curiosity, CHOP is finding new ways to create healthier and brighter outcomes for all the children they serve, transforming generations to come. They are saving lives, breaking impactful boundaries, discovering cutting-edge solutions and advancing pediatric healthcare. CDM Smith’s donation of $15,000 will help CHOP provide exceptional patient care and empower clinicians and researchers to think and act boldly.

National Multiple Sclerosis Society drives promising research to treat Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and ultimately find a cure. In addition to accelerating research, the society advocates to lower treatment costs and works to empower those affected to live their best lives. With CDM Smith’s donation of $10,000, National MS Society will continue to fund research, raise awareness and ensure voices of the community are heard where it matters most.

CDM Smith’s Wellness Program rewards employees and their dependents for healthy behaviors and accomplishments with the goal of a healthier, more productive, happy and focused workforce. Participants earn wellness points that the firm converts to dollars to donate to charities chosen by CDM Smith’s Executive Leadership Team and by employee vote. Since the Wellness Program’s start in 2017, employee participation has resulted in $1.5 million in charitable donations.
