U.S. Air Force Selects CDM Smith for the Comprehensive Construction & Engineering Multiple-Award Task Order Contract
SAN ANTONIO, Texas— The U.S. Air Force selected CDM Smith for the $15 billion Comprehensive Construction and Engineering (C2E) multiple-award task order contract. The C2E contract consists of a 5-year base period plus five 1-year option periods through 2035. CDM Smith was selected for the unrestricted contract with 13 competitors in total. The Ahtna USA – CDM Joint Venture was also selected for the Small Business contract award with 11 competitors in total.
Task orders will encompass facilities and infrastructure design-build and design-bid-build construction to support the U.S. Air Force and other federal agencies. This award exemplifies the significance of CDM Smith’s 40-year client relationship with the Department of the Air Force, where we have supported the department’s mission through design, consulting, and construction services.
