One of her proudest projects is the Calexico West Land Port of Entry Phase 2A, a $184 million, five-year construction program on the US-Mexico border, where she led the on-site construction management team as a senior project manager. Her oversight of major projects also includes the Yuma Regional Medical Center Expansion in Arizona. As the senior manager for this project, Wilkinson supervised the design and construction management of $200 million capital improvements over four years, which included a new emergency department, cancer center, and parking garage for the medical center.

Wilkinson has her bachelor’s in architecture from the University of Kentucky, is a registered architect in the state of Arizona, and is a certified construction manager. She is also an active member in the San Diego Chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC).
