If the current customer side is galvanized and the current utility side is not lead (i.e. copper, plastic, brass, galvanized, other) this decision tree can help determine if the service line should be classified as galvanized requiring replacement (GRR). This flowchart is based on the Federal LCRR requirements, so make sure to check what your individual state requires.
