Justin Feek

Justin has extensive public and private sector trans­porta­tion planning experience at state, county, and city levels of government in multiple states. His experience working directly with the Federal Highway Admin­is­tra­tion (FHWA), councils of governments (COG)s and metro­pol­i­tan planning orga­ni­za­tion (MPO) processes has provided him a diverse under­stand­ing of procurement, trans­porta­tion planning, project scoping, stakeholder outreach, trans­porta­tion system data analysis, and public outreach practices.

Helping others find work, identify their passions, utilize their talents, and experience personal and profes­sional growth gives me a great sense of joy and accom­plish­ment,” Justin says. “I enjoy helping others learn from my mistakes and lessons I have learned throughout my career so they can avoid the same pitfalls and enhance their own personal and profes­sional growth.”

In his role, Justin focuses on showcasing CDM Smith’s planning work in the marketplace, partnering with client service teams on key planning opportunities, and engaging in priority projects to expand the firm’s long-range transportation planning services and grow its planning practice. With his focus area in long-range transportation planning, Feek enjoys, “understanding the unique natural and social opportunities and constraints facing communities and working to improve the quality of life and transportation choices for people of all walks of life.”
