Dr. Margarita Lieberum

Dr. Margarita Lieberum chose to study geology because to her it promised never-ending adventures. By now, she has over 20 years of work experience and contributed to over 100 national and inter­na­tional projects. At CDM Smith, Margarita has been working as project manager in our business unit for transport infra­strucutre and geotechnics since 2020. Here, she is one of our experts for ground inves­ti­ga­tion and foundation consulting services.

Furthermore, she has great expertise in the fileds of soil mechanics, geotechnics, hydro­ge­ol­ogy, and clay minerals. Some of her most significant projects include the expansion of the IT-cable system along the autobahn A7 in south­east­ern Hamburg, as well as the construc­tion of underground line U5 in the city of Hamburg.
