Bickenbach Geotechnical Laboratory

CDM Smith's field teams operate internationally. With multiple offices across all regions of Germany, we are available at your project site at short notice. We plan and supervise ground investigation works and drilling, determine geotechnical, environmental and hydraulic parameters, and survey ground conditions and structures using measurement technology or geophysical methods. Earthworks monitoring and quality assurance, as well as internal and external monitoring, are also part of our services.

In our geotechnical laboratories, we determine the physical and mechanical properties of soil and rock samples, as well as the material properties of cut-off wall compounds or mineral sealing materials, geomembranes and improved soils. When it comes to frozen soils, our ground freezing laboratory in Bochum provides specialised testing as a unique service to clients worldwide.
