Field/ Laboratory Generalist

Our field and laboratory teams operate both nationally and internationally and are available  at short notice across Germany thanks to our multiple locations. We plan and supervise site investigations and drilling works, and determine geotechnical, geopedological, environmental, and hydraulic parameters. In addition, we assess subsurface conditions and structures using measurement techniques as well as geophysical methods. Earthworks monitoring, quality assurance, and both internal and independent testing are also part of our service portfolio. In our geotechnical laboratories, we analyse the physical, mechanical, soil-related, and construction material properties of soil samples.

As a testing laboratory accredited in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025, we work to recognised national and international standards, ensuring the highest levels of quality and reliability.

We determine virtually all key parameters, including:

  • Soil classification
  • Bearing capacity
  • Compactability
  • Deformation and strength parameters

Our results provide the foundation for safe and reliable planning and execution of construction projects.

We also carry out specialised testing on frozen soil samples in our ground-freezing laboratory – a service that is almost unique worldwide.
