With a total length of 40.5 kilometres, the pipeline runs through the districts of Dillingen an der Donau and Günzburg. By running parallel to the existing Senden–Vohburg (SV50) gas transmission pipeline, AUGUSTA enhances network stability and creates additional capacity to reliably meet both current and future energy demand.
As a transmission system operator, bayernets meets the requirements of the current gas network development plans and sends a clear signal for a demand-driven, future-oriented network expansion.

Challenging ground conditions, high groundwater levels, peat soils in the pipeline trench, and a wide range of complex construction methods for the trenchless crossings made the project a true highlight.

Our services included comprehensive documentation of construction progress as well as quality assurance throughout all project phases - from the start of construction through to successful commissioning and land restoration.
