What Is the ESG Transparency Committee?
The ESG Transparency Committee is an independent European expert body dedicated to professional exchange, the promotion of ESG transparency and the further development of sustainable systems. Members of the Committee contribute their expertise to studies, data collection and the ongoing development of the ESG Transparency Evaluation Standard.
Key elements of the Committee include:
- Access to exclusive studies and joint data analyses
- Development of a best practice collection on key sustainability topics
- High-level networking events, including as part of the European Sustainability Week
- The opportunity to actively contribute to European ESG initiatives and standards
Appointments are based on proven expertise, including our repeated success in the ESG Transparency Award, and are explicitly independent.
In addition, this recognition is also reflected elsewhere: Hartmut Schmid is featured as a member of the ESG Transparency Committee on the official EUPD website.
The EUPD Group is an internationally active analysis and certification institute with a focus on sustainability, ESG and energy. The organisation is considered an established player in Europe, particularly through its market analyses, studies, and the development of evaluation standards and awards such as the ESG Transparency Award.
