Galvanized requiring replacement decision tree

We created a simple, downloadable decision tree to help utilities quickly determine whether a galvanized service line is classified as “galvanized requiring replacement” under the LCRI.

Galvanized requiring replacement (GRR) decision tree

Is that galvanized service line a GRR? Figuring it out just got easier.

If the current customer side is galvanized and the current utility side is not lead (i.e., copper, plastic, brass, galvanized, other) this decision tree can help determine if the service line should be classified as GRR. The flowchart is based on the federal LCRI requirements, so make sure to check if your individual state requirements vary.
