Michael Belvin is a senior environmental planner with over 30 years of expertise in transportation planning, project development, and environmental analysis.His work spans a wide range of transportation initiatives, including metropolitan and urban infrastructure, rural transit systems, bridge construction, new interchanges, roadway alignments, and community bypasses.
Michael has authored numerous technical reports addressing noise, air quality, hazardous materials, and community impact assessments. His contributions also include evaluations of socioeconomic factors, environmental justice, and broader community effects. With extensive experience navigating the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), he has supported projects across the country for various federal and state agencies. Michael's experience also includes dealing with the Clean Water Act (CWA), CWA section 404/401 permitting, and compliance.
