Josh Rich

Josh Rich is an experienced project manager and engineer in the oil and gas, and chemical industries, with a strong background in project, facilities, and refining engineering. He specializes in leading capital projects, overseeing engineering design efforts, and managing construction teams across diverse national and international locations.

His proudest project to date at CDM Smith was the Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO) Replacement project. He played a key role in helping a client rapidly replace a critical piece of equipment, enabling continued operations with minimal downtime and worked closely with the client’s selected vendor to design utility piping, structural supports, and specialized fiberglass piping.

“I'm inspired by all things technical and driven by a passion for problem-solving. There's nothing more rewarding than collaborating with a team of engineers to tackle a challenge, develop thoughtful design solutions, and then see those plans take shape in the real world,” he says.
