Davida Judelson, MPH
“Knowing that my efforts help ensure safe drinking water for millions of people motivates me every day,” says Lead in Drinking Water Technical Leader Davida Judelson. “I’m inspired by the tangible impact that environmental health work has on communities.”
Davida joins the CDM Smith Lead in Drinking Water task force with over a decade of experience at one of the nation’s largest public health departments. At the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (NYC DOHMH), Davida was responsible for managing drinking water regulatory and enforcement programs, coordinating interagency collaboration and conducting field investigations to ensure compliance with state and federal drinking water standards.
She was named a key leader in the NYC DOHMH technical community and contributed to water quality reports for the city as well.
“I was drawn to CDM Smith’s reputation for technical excellence and its mission-driven approach to collaboratively solving complex infrastructure challenges,” Davida says. “The opportunity to work with multidisciplinary teams on projects across the nation to address lead in drinking water is both exciting and deeply meaningful to me.”

I'm driven by the opportunity to address persistent challenges where science, policy and public education intersect.
