As the global population continues to grow, expected to reach 10 billion by 2050, the need for reliable fresh water supplies to serve this growing population is critical. Climate change has increased the frequency of droughts and increased temperatures, putting many communities at risk of running out of water. Today, in many communities the most reliable and drought resistant source of clean water can be wastewater effluent, so water reuse is becoming more prevalent to serve our growing needs.
