Transportation Expert Jefferson Grimes Joins CDM Smith in Texas 

AUSTIN, Texas—CDM Smith is pleased to announce that after three decades of working in state government, Jefferson Grimes has joined CDM Smith's trans­porta­tion team as a vice president and Texas trans­porta­tion practice leader. Grimes brings experience in government relations, strategic commu­ni­ca­tions and public and stakeholder outreach. Before joining CDM Smith, Grimes served as director of public involvement and as deputy director of government and public affairs for the Texas Department of Trans­porta­tion (TxDOT), where he guided the agency through numerous audits and performance reviews, established new office policies and procedures intended to govern meaningful civic engagement, and advised TxDOT and the state trans­porta­tion commission’s successful legislative and congres­sional programs.
