Hala Z. Titus Named President of CDM Smith's North America Unit

CONCORD, California—CDM Smith is pleased to announce the appointment of Hala Z. Titus, PE, BCEE, PMP, as the President of our North America Unit (NAU). Through NAU, Hala will lead CDM Smith’s goal of continually delivering innovative and cost-effective solutions to help cities, states and utilities manage their environment and infra­struc­ture needs. 

Hala brings more than 30 years of diverse technical, project management, construc­tion and leadership experience in the United States, Canada, Egypt, Sweden, Taiwan and Thailand. Most notably, she has success­fully led and delivered landmark projects for some of the largest utilities in the world.

 Since joining CDM Smith in 2014, Hala has served as Senior Vice President, Sales Leader and Sales Director for CDM Smith’s West Pacific Group, where her leadership contributed signif­i­cantly to the region’s record services sales growth of nearly 70% from 2016 to 2022. She also proactively supported efforts to increase our market share with top-tier clients, estab­lish­ing and growing our business in Vancouver, Canada, and driving the growth of our client base in California.

 Hala earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering at Alexandria University and is a licensed profes­sional engineer and board-certified envi­ron­men­tal engineer.
