CDM Smith Welcomes Scott Churilla as Owner Advisor Practice Leader

JACK­SONVILLE, Fla.—CDM Smith is excited to welcome Scott Churilla, JD, DBIA as vice president and owner advisor practice leader. Churilla, who will be joining the Jack­sonville, FL office, is an alternative project delivery profes­sional with 25 years of experience in the industry. His areas of expertise include design-build, commercial risk and contracts. At CDM Smith, he will be responsible for leading our owner advisor practice and assisting our clients in developing and executing collab­o­ra­tive delivery projects with an initial focus on the water market.

Churilla is actively involved with the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) as a DBIA designated design-build profes­sional since 2006, and currently sits on its national board of directors. Addi­tion­ally, he is co-chair of the national contact documents committee and a board liaison to the legal and legislative committee. Churilla is passionate about delivering meaningful infra­struc­ture projects and making clients’ profes­sional lives easier. His extensive and impressive experience with business development, client management, project admin­is­tra­tion, commercial risk analysis and alternative project delivery will make him an invaluable asset to CDM Smith clients.
