CDM Smith Grows Transportation Team with CEI Hires
BOSTON, Massachusetts—CDM Smith is proud to announce that our transportation team is continuing to grow with the addition of four construction engineering inspection (CEI) experts: Cory Brown, Patricia Gambill, Ghassan Suwaid and Quintin Rozycki. With more than 80 years of combined experience, these experts will expand CDM Smith’s ability to provide clients throughout the southeast with best-in-class CEI services to help them build roads, bridges and other transportation infrastructure on schedule and budget, in compliance with all requirements and according to design specifications. “Our transportation team is very excited Cory, Patti, Gus and Quinn have joined the firm. We are happy to expand our CEI capabilities for our valued clients and hope to provide many new opportunities for CDM Smith going forward,” expressed director of CDM Smith’s transportation CEI services, Virgil Rook.
Cory Brown, PE, has joined CDM Smith's South Carolina CEI group, bringing more than two decades of experience in structural design, project engineering, project management and construction engineering and management. Specializing in structural design and project coordination on projects of all types and sizes, Brown is experienced in delivering solutions for local municipalities and contributing to large urban developments, including Qatar's recently completed Lusail Expressway Project. “I look forward in being a vital part of delivering quality transportation infrastructure for CDM Smith,” said Brown.
Patricia Gambill, PE, CPM, has joined CDM Smith’s Columbia, South Carolina office. Gambill is experienced in critical path method scheduling, quality assurance of construction materials, program management, and pavement design. Prior to CDM Smith, she spent nearly three decades with the South Carolina Department of Transportation in the construction division. Gambill is looking forward to applying the experience she gained there to a multitude of different areas: “I look forward to participating in all aspects of project delivery aimed at improving our transportation systems,” said Gambill.
Project administrator and engineer-in-training Quintin Rozycki has five years of experience in transportation construction engineering and project management for public and private agencies at local, regional and state levels. Rozycki is a skilled project planner with experience implementing and executing projects, including key scheduling and budgeting tasks. “I’m excited to see CDM Smith expand its CEI capabilities,” said Rozycki, who is based in Jacksonville, Florida. “I look forward to being a part of that growth.”
