CDM Smith Australia update COVID-19: our commitment to delivering work while taking precautions
17 March 2020
COVID-19 is challenging for all parts of our community. CDM Smith is no different and we have been actively implementing our response to this evolving situation. This is an update from Stuart Richardson, Managing Director, on our business and our commitment to delivering work while taking precautions.

The COVID-19 virus is challenging for all parts of our community. CDM Smith is no different and we have been actively implementing our response to this evolving situation.

My priority is the health and wellbeing of our people, our clients and the broader community while still maintaining our usual operations to provide you with the quality of service you have always expected from us.

I want to reassure you that project schedules will not be impacted.  We are planning for business as usual. The only change is that all our staff are working remotely (from home) from 18th March to 4th April (at this stage). We will provide an update prior to 4th of April if this arrangement is to remain in place after this date.

We have state of the art technology for virtual teaming and communication. This means you will have continued access to our staff. Any scheduled field works can still go ahead subject to your requirements and project-specific risk assessments.

I also want to assure you that we will maintain the highest level of security of your information. All our staff can access and store information on our secure file servers.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call your CDM Smith Project Manager .

Thank you for your understanding in these unusual circumstances. We wish you all our very best as you manage the effects of the COVID-19 outbreak on your people and your business.

Stuart Richardson

Managing Director, CDM Smith Australia
