CDM Smith delivered integrated infrastructure engineering design and construction supervision for the Jumeirah Lakes Towers development. Services covered roads, utilities, lake systems, landscaping, parking structures and service buildings. The team coordinated interfaces across multiple clusters, secured statutory approvals and applied rigorous quality, safety and schedule controls to support phased delivery of this large-scale urban district.
CDM Smith provided preliminary and detailed design and construction supervision for roads, utilities, drainage, sewerage, irrigation, electrical, telecom and lake management systems, ensuring seamless integration with municipal networks and phased development requirements.
The scope included full landscaping and hardscaping works across the site and perimeter, integrating lakes, public spaces and screening elements. Designs balanced aesthetics, constructability, water management and long-term operational performance.
We designed and supervised construction of infrastructure service buildings, including substations, pump stations, tanks and related facilities, ensuring reliability, safety and compliance with authority and operational requirements.
The team designed and supervised 28 common parking structures, each with three levels and capacity for over 930 vehicles, along with access roads, ramps and internal circulation to support efficient vehicular and pedestrian movement.
Jumeirah Lakes Towers is a major mixed-use development located opposite Dubai Marina, developed by DMCC. Covering approximately 180 hectares, the project includes a central 20-hectare lake, 28 building clusters and extensive commercial, residential and public realm components. We carried out full infrastructure engineering design and construction supervision, supporting delivery of roads, utilities, landscaping, lakes, parking structures and service facilities across the development. The scope required careful coordination of phased construction, interfaces between clusters, and connections to local and municipal networks, while maintaining access and operational continuity. We also managed authority approvals and no-objection certificates, supporting efficient delivery across multiple work fronts. The completed infrastructure provides a resilient, integrated foundation for one of Dubai’s most prominent urban districts.
