The C762 D Line TSE Pumping Station and Transmission Main project is a key infrastructure development in Doha enabling sustainable water reuse for irrigation systems and sand washing supply. Commissioned by the Public Works Authority (Ashghal), the project includes construction of a high-capacity pumping station with a discharge capacity of 120,000 m³/day at 15 bars head and approximately 65 km of 1200 mm diameter transmission pipelines extending from the Doha South Sewage Treatment Works to Al Ghadeer & Hassad Farm, sand washing plants and a seasonal storage lagoon. The work also involved microtunneling at critical crossings and installation of mechanical, electrical, and utility systems to support operations. CDM Smith provided construction supervision, contract administration and project controls, overseeing site activities, reviewing materials and method statements, and ensuring compliance with quality, health, safety and environmental standards. Through effective coordination and performance monitoring, CDM Smith supported the successful delivery of a complex system that enhances water reuse and long-term infrastructure resilience in Qatar.
