CDM Smith enters into a Research Partnership with the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA Queensland).

CDM Smith recently entered into a Research Partnership Agreement with the Urban Development Institute of Australia, Queensland Branch (UDIA Qld).  The UDIA (Qld) Research Foundation offers a range of quantitative and qualitative research designed to deliver market insight to assist its members to make better business decisions.  UDIA (Qld) has an industry mailing list of over 10,000 industry participants, including small, medium and large developers, consultants, local government and state government departments throughout Queensland.  CDM Smith’s Data Analytics Team, Strategic Land Planning and Economics Team worked collaboratively to create an online dashboard for UDIA (Qld) to deliver its development industry reports in an interactive and geospatial portal.

The Development Industry Dashboard will provide the development industry with up to date information relating to development fees and charges, infrastructure charges and property market insights across UDIA (Qld)’s eleven regional branches covering fifteen local government areas.

The Research Foundation Partnership between CDM Smith and UDIA (Qld) anchored by the delivery of the Development Industry Dashboard has given CDM Smith the opportunity to  showcase the capability of CDM Smith’s Data Analytics Team.
