Mark Imber, BSc (Resource and Environmental Management) Hons1a
With an extensive amount of expertise in environmental management and approvals in Australia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Bougainville and Algeria, Mark has filled environmental approval roles for resource companies in the Galilee, Bowen and Surat Basins and in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia.
Mark has led or contributed to a wide range of many environmental assessments for the resource sector including projects relating to Bauxite Mining, LNG, energy generation, coals liquids, phosphate or zinc. He also lends his experience to port facility and linear infrastructure (rail, road and transmission line) projects, steel facilities and a wide range of land management and ecological projects.
Mark leads our Environmental Services team and is committed to team accountability, working in a mutually rewarding 'one team' approach, and provision of high quality reporting outcomes.
Offering leading practitioners that 'get it', who understand the broader context and organisational drivers, and known to be the right profile to achieve the expectations set by both businesses, is critical.
Mark has led the preparation of many Environmental Impact Statements (EIS) and most recently he led the preparation of the EIS for the Metro Mining, Bauxite Hills Project in Cape York.
