Christian Wallis, BAgSci MEnvSci CPSS.
Christian is a Principal - Land & Groundwater, with over 20 years' experience specialising in the investigation, remediation and management of contaminated and ecologically sensitive environments to support major infrastructure developments. Christian provides specialist technical direction and innovative input to the design and implementation of simple to complex soil and groundwater assessment and remediation projects, in particular coastal infrastructure developments where acid sulfate soils (ASS) are prevalent.
Christian is a Certified Practicing Soil Scientist (CPSS) and an EPA appointed Environmental Auditor (Contaminated Land). Christian has represented both government and private sector clients at Panel Hearings on acid sulfate soils and land impact risks. Christian has been engaged by the EPA in a technical advisory role relating to precinct scale soil and groundwater pollution. Christian has prepared best practice environmental management guidance for the onsite treatment and management of contaminated soils and wastes.
Christian regularly presents at industry forums and conferences on project sustainability, soil science, environmental risk management, remediation and environmental technologies. Christian has prepared and delivered advice to support government briefings on significant public interest issues. This broad industry experience demonstrates Christian's ability to implement government policy, engage with diverse stakeholder interests to achieve successful outcomes for clients.
