We are looking for the following position for our Warsaw branch:
Civil 3D Engineer / Designer
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Civil 3D Engineer / Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and drafting civil infrastructure projects using Autodesk Civil 3D. You will collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and clients to develop high-quality technical drawings and ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and modify 2D and 3D civil engineering designs using Autodesk Civil 3D.
- Prepare site grading, alignments, profiles, corridors, and earthwork calculations.
- Assist in the design of roads, highways, drainage systems, utilities, and land development projects.
- Coordinate with engineers and project teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Generate construction drawings, reports, and documentation.
- Perform quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
- Ensure that all designs comply with local regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
Requirements:
Academic Background
- Completed Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; a further degree (e.g. a Master’s degree) is an advantage, especially with a specialization in infrastructure planning or transportation engineering.
Technical Expertise
- Experience in civil projects such as sewer systems, terrain modeling, or road design.
- At least 3 years of experience in civil engineering design and drafting (road and drainage design).
- Extensive knowledge and solid experience in using Civil 3D or comparable object-oriented CAD tools.
- Proven experience in creating complex 3D models and preparing corresponding technical documentation.
- Experience with common BIM tools such as BIM 360, Navisworks, Solibri, or Autodesk Revit is advantageous, particularly for model validation, clash detection, and interdisciplinary collaboration in BIM projects.
- Basic knowledge of Revit is beneficial but not mandatory; expertise in other BIM or CAD solutions is an asset.
International Experience & Project Management
- Experience working on international infrastructure projects, ideally with a focus on Germany.
- Ability to adapt to intercultural teams and consider international standards and requirements.
Language Skills
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required for communication in our international environment.
- German language skills are desirable but not mandatory.
