Societas Europaea as new legal form

Last year CDM Smith celebrated its 75th anniversary, an important milestone for the company. At the same time, the founding of CDM Smith SE opened new avenues for the further development of the company in Europe.

"Following the European idea, with the merger of our German subsidiary, CDM Smith Consult GmbH, into CDM Smith SE, we are forming a new operative business unit that will make us strong for the tasks that global change brings with it," explains Dr. rer. nat. Ralf Bufler, CEO of CDM Smith SE. The merger process of the former CDM Smith Consult GmbH with CDM Smith SE has now been completed since the beginning of September and both have since been operating jointly as CDM Smith SE.
