Will McGugan Recognized by Association of Energy Engineers
RALEIGH, N.C. – Will McGugan, electrical engineer at CDM Smith, was recently presented with the Region II Energy Professional Development Award by the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE). This award recognizes an individual for outstanding accomplishments in training and development of energy engineers and managers, and for superior service to the AEE.
McGugan started at CDM Smith in 2014, first in the Boston office before transferring back home to North Carolina. Throughout his time at CDM Smith, he has provided design, maintenance, and analysis services of power systems for a wide array of facilities and clients.
“I've only been a member of the AEE for a short period of time, but the importance of energy engineering and energy efficiency to the future can't be overstated,” said McGugan. “Simply being nominated by one of my coworkers is a great honor.”
