CHICAGO, Illinois—CDM Smith is proud to announce that Al Goodman, PE, associate client service leader, received this year’s W. Wesley Eckenfelder Industrial Water Quality Lifetime Achievement Award from the Water Environment Federation (WEF) on October 3 at WEFTEC 2017 in Chicago.

The W. Wesley Eckenfelder award is given annually and recognizes and honors an individual who has made substantial and measurable engineering, scientific and/or operations contributions to the management or treatment of industrial wastes related to the improvement of water quality.

“It is the greatest honor to receive this award from my peers," said Goodman. "I very much appreciate that I've had the opportunity to work with so many fine industrial clients during my 43 years in this profession."

Goodman was also recognized at WEFTEC as one of 11 new WEF Fellows, who were announced by WEF in August 2017.
